Vijay Sharma, MD

He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine (Adult Medicine), since 1995. He has been practicing Internal /Primary Care Medicine for the past twenty-nine years.

Dr Sharma attended Government Medical College (Amritsar) in India and obtained his Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1981. He practiced as a Primary Care Physician for five years in India prior to continuing his career in the United States. In 1992, Dr Sharma completed one year of internship in Pediatrics at Methodist Hospital, affiliated with SUNY University in New York. He completed his internship and residency as an Internist at Harlem Hospital affiliated with College of Physician & Surgeons of Columbia University in New York in 1995. He went on and practiced Primary Care and Internal Medicine for four years in upstate New York prior to moving to Texas in 1999.

Dr Sharma is a dedicated physician who pays keen attention to his patients’ everyday needs. He has been practicing in the Dallas area as Internist for the past eleven years where he has built a very strong professional relationship with his patients. Most of his patient’s referral comes from his patients.
